Creamy white, speckled with tiny charcoal dots and the occasional flash of orange, gives this jarrito a quiet, modern charm. The dots are scattered across the round body in a fine, even pattern that looks a bit like sprinkled pepper on fresh cream. This is capulineado, the patient dotting technique from Mexico named for the small, dark capulín cherry. Every dot was placed one at a time, by hand, by skilled artisans in Mexico.

Made from barro (traditional Mexican clay), the jarrito has a compact, rounded body, a softly flared rim, and a curved handle in matching cream. The smooth, matte finish keeps the natural feel of the clay, and the warm terracotta interior shows at the opening for a lovely contrast. Because every dot is painted by hand, no two jarritos are alike.

Display it on a kitchen shelf, a coffee bar, or a windowsill, or use it to hold small flowers, spoons, or desk supplies. The neutral palette fits minimalist, Scandinavian, farmhouse, boho, and Mexican-inspired spaces, and it pairs well with the other jarritos in a collection. It’s a thoughtful gift for housewarmings, birthdays, and anyone who loves handmade pieces.
